Board of Advisers

Prof. Mitsuhide Shiraki, Ph.D., Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University and President, Institute for Transnational Human Resources Management (HRM)


早稲田大学政治経済学部卒業後、同大大学院経済学研究科博士後期課程修了。経済学博士。国士舘大学政経学部教授などを経て1999年より現職。専門は労働経済学、社会政策及び人的資源管理

Graduated from the College of Political Science and Graduate School of Economics of Waseda University with Ph.D. in Economics.

After being a professor of the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Kokushikan University and other educational institutions, he has been in his current post since 1999. Prof. Shiraki specializes in labor economics, social policy and human resources management and has authored, edited, co-authored, and co-edited several HR-related books and publications with particular emphasis on international or transnational HRM.

1985年慶應義塾大学理工学部管理工学科卒業。エプソン株式会社(現セイコーエプソン株式会社)入社。1990年イリノイ大学経営学修士課程修了(MBA)。1999年プライスウォーターハウスクーパースGHRSディレクター。2002年中央青山監査法人事業開発本部HRソリューション室長ディレクターを経て、2004年8月から現職。現在、日本人材マネジメント協会の幹事も務める。
著書に「新任マネジャーの行動学」(日本経団連出版)「21世紀の“戦略型”人事部」(共著、日本労働研究機構・2002)他、専門雑誌などへの掲載多数。人事戦略に関する講演経験も豊富。


Mr. Yamamoto is a Partner in charge of PwC Human Resources Services practice in Japan. He has more than 18 years of experience in HR management consulting, servicing to both Japanese and foreign-affilated companies in Japan and overseas subsidiaries of Japanese companies.

His recent professional activities include HR strategy development, performance management design, HR effectiveness consulting, HR development (management training), along with numerous experience in HR transaction services such as HR due diligence, integration and redesigning of HR systems, down sizing, HR administration and communications.

Bilingual in Japanese and English, Mr. Yamamoto is a frequent speaker at HRM conferences and seminars in Japan, and an author of several HRM books in Japanese.  He holds BS Engineering from Keio University in Tokyo and MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

約20年に渡り、継続してHR領域における実務とコンサルティングの両面から経験を積んできました。日本企業と外資系企業、また日本のみならず欧州、米国での経験もあり、日本と欧米のマネジメントスタイルに幅広く対応できます。主要な領域としては、M&A等における人事制度や企業文化の統合、新たな組織・制度導入に際してのチェンジマネジメント、導入プロセスと人事制度設計、人材育成・開発の設計と実施、などが挙げられます。

また経済産業大臣認定・登録の中小企業診断士であり、The Japan HR Society (JHRS) の顧問でもあります。学歴は、慶応大学経済学部で学士を、米国カリフォルニア大学サンタバーバラ校で経済学修士を取得しています。


Mr. Enomoto has almost 20 years of solid HR experience both as a practitioner and as a consultant. He has worked with Japanese and foreign-affiliated firms not only in Japan but also in the US and Europe making him very well-versed in both Japanese and Western styles of management. His main expertise includes M&A/integration of HR schemes and/or company cultures, change management in introducing new organization, work processes, and HR structures, and planning and implementation of people training and development.

He is also a registered management consultant for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by the Japanese Government
. Academically, he has a BA Economics from Keio University and MA Economics from the University of California in Santa Barbara.

Mr. Norihide Munakata, Independent HR Consultant

 

Mr. Munakata is a seasoned HR professional / executive with more than 20 years of hands-on and management experiences in the Human Resources field.  He served as the head of HR at prominent US-based high-tech companies in Japan, including AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Cadence Design Systems, and Sun Microsystems.  Most recently, he was HR Director at Oracle Japan. 

He has a track record of successful accomplishments, among others, of massive change management through M&A, divestiture, spin-off and organic streamlining. He also has various non-HR business experiences such as market research and analysis, consultation, marketing, and strategic planning, which differentiate quality, customer focus and sense of urgency of his work engagements and results.

He holds a bachelor degree from International Christian University, happily married, and lives in Chiba.
